There are so many disorders of the thyroid gland — hypothyroid (low,
underactive or inactive thyroid),
hyperthyroid (high or overactive thyroid),
thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, enlarged thyroid, goiter, etc.
Allopathically, one can treat the symptoms but will that cure the cause of the
thyroid imbalance?
Take one drug to boost an underactive thyroid, take another
drug to lower an overaractive thyroid
and take another drug to cure the thyroid
nodules. How can one determine the proper thyroid treatment?
Since the thyroid is a secondary gland, holistically we would first want to
look at the primary glands that
control the thyroid. These are the pineal,
pituitary and hypothalamus glands in the brain. These is such an
intricate
balance and interdependency between the adrenals and thyroid glands and the
master glands of
the brain. We feel to get to the source of any thyroid or
adrenal problems, it only makes holistic sense to
first make sure the master
glands of the brain are fully functioning. The only totally holistic product
that we

At one point (20+ years old), Connie tested hyperthyroid, a common condition for elderly cats,
however, with a combination of supplements (BioPreparation and Standard Process Thytrophin PMG) and
homeopaths, we normalized her
thyroid again and it went back into the high normal range. We avoided the radioactive iodine treament
and Tapazole drug our vet recommended. Note that we used BioSuperfood and
