Optimum
Choices is not housing these dogs and has no further information on them. We are
simply posting their pictures here as a service to the Misha May Foundation.
Please contact Lorraine May, executive director, for further information at
info@mishamayfoundation.org. Applications may be downloaded from the links
below and e-mailed to Lorraine.
Tragic: Out of every 10 families that get dogs,
only 4 families keep theirs beyond the first year. Misha May is determined
to change that, so we place a great deal of importance on where each dog
goes. We want to work with you for a forever match. Please go to
http://mishamayfoundation.org/adopt.htm to read about our adoption
process and to complete an application. All dogs are in foster homes. A
completed application is required before you can make a private appointment
to meet a dog.
We are at the Lakewood Petco, near Wadsworth and Alameda across from Bel-Mar,
with some of our dogs, on the second Saturday of each month between
3-5:30pm. You can also go to our website events page,
http://mishamayfoundation.org/events.htm, to find other locations where
we will have our dogs up for adoption.
Adoption fees for dogs begin at $100.
We are always in need of foster homes, volunteers and donations of money
and supplies. Email
info@mishamayfoundation.org if you would like more information.
Wyatt
I am Wyatt, a 2 year old neutered
male Boxer / Great Dane. I am very energetic,
smart and lovable. I listen and want to do what is
right; I have a lovely temperament with people and
do well with most dogs. I am living in a foster home
right now with other dogs and my foster mom and dad
say they would keep me if they didn't already have
too any dogs. I like it here but I really want my
own family. I love playing fetch and running
around. I am house trained, crate trained and can
be left alone while you are gone with no problem. I
do need active owners who will take me for hikes or
play with me. I am best placed without kids due to
my size and energy level. No cat will want to live
with me, however,....I cannot be trusted with them!
Can you picture me at your house?
SuzyQ
SuzyQ, a 10 month old Lab /
Boxer, is a victim of the economy. She was homeless and
pregnant and worried. She and her babies have been in a
Misha May foster home since they were 2 days old, so all is
quite wonderful for her now.
SuzyQ is a loving sweet girl who
is house trained and seems to get along with everyone. At
this time, she is attending a Misha May Beginning Training
class and doing very well. The new owner could continue with
these classes if convenient.
Her adoption fee is $150 which
includes spay, vaccines including rabies, and micro
chipping. All of our dogs are fed high quality food as well.
