Because of the amazing demand for our "wholistic"
consulting and revolutionary products,
we have to limit every inquiry (e-mail and telephone) to 15
minutes in order to help all those in need. After the first 15
minutes we charge our normal
consulting fee. Please
make use of all the free resources available 24 hours/day, by
clicking on the buttons in the left-hand menu of every product
page. Thank you in
advance.
New Video
New video is now posted on our website. Russell's first video is now published
on our home page and several other key pages introducing his new paradigm in
"wholistic" health — Freedom From Illness.
More "wholistic"
lessons and answers to the most frequently asked questions will follow in future
video releases. Stay tuned.

Do
you wish to learn more about what is truly holistic?
Do you want to know why we spell holistic
with a "w"?
Do you want to know why we say 90-95% of
everything advertised as holistic is NOT?
Do you want to know why some so-called
"holistic" supplements do not work?
To find the answer to all these questions, go
to Russell's new personal blog "Wholistic
Answers" at
www.RussellLouie.com. Russell is blogging about the wholistic
lessons he learns in our wholistic practice, new scientific research
supporting holistic modalities and critical holistic news everyone needs to
know about (such as
Genetically Modified Organism food being served in fast-food restaurants
today).
Under the old healthcare paradigm one used to
evaluate a practitioner’s competence by the initials
following
their name. D.V.M. meant doctor of veterinary medicine, M.D. for medical
doctor, D.C. for doctor of chiropractic, etc. and they all had 4 or more
years of schooling and a certain level of competency was expected.
Today, with many alternative practitioners there is literally an
alphabet soup after names. Do you know what these initials stand for: L.
Ac., C.V.A., D. Ac., C.M.T., C.A.C., C.P.D.T., M.S.O.M., D.O.M., N.D., C.R.M.? I have found another important way to judge a practitioner’s
ability to help my furry family—Experience.
Here is one example. We took our 20 year old cat to a holistic vet who
was a Certified Veterinary
Acupuncturist (C.V.A.). After several sessions with no results we
decided acupuncture did not work on
Connie. We tried many holistic products and even drugs (with disastrous results)
to ease her severe arthritis with no results. We were desperate to try
anything now. Because of the glowing reports from our traditional vet,
we tried his acupuncturist who was trained and lived in China.
She
also studied TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine, another acronym). We saw
such dramatic improvement after the first session that we continued
acupuncture until Connie died at age 21. We never needed to give any
more drugs or supplements for arthritis as the acupuncture and our bio-algae concentrates
produced wonderful results. Our conclusion was (in this particular case
only) the second acupuncturist’s training in China and TCM was more
valuable than having a D.V.M. do acupuncture.
Another example is a client who was cleaning out the ears of their dog
daily and giving medication with no results. I remember reading that
recent research showed glucosamine had side effects. When the
body
is inflamed (such as arthritis), the body tries to produce more
glucosamine internally and send antioxidants through the bloodstream to
fight the inflammation. But if the nutrients or live enzymes (only
available from raw foods) are lacking, the body cannot produce enough,
so, an external supplement of glucosamine is needed. Taking glucosamine
(a derivative of the glucose sugar molecule) instead through the
digestive tract feeds the yeast and fungi that already reside there and
Candida symptoms might develop. Another problem is it bypasses an
important regulatory step when taken through the digestive tract and ATP
levels can drop, thus creating insulin resistance brought on by high
blood-glucose and insulin. By trying to reduce inflammation with high
doses of glucosamine, one risks increasing yeast overgrowth, blood sugar
disorders and even liver toxicity. I asked our client if she was giving
high doses of glucosamine for her dog's arthritis. She answered, "O.M.G.
is that why his ears are so infested?" Even though I have no medical
certification, I made the connection between high doses of glucosamine
and a possible yeast overgrowth in the body. My 10 years in our
“wholistic” animal practice has given me insight to see the side effects
when just supplementing the symptoms.
While credential are a starting point for evaluation, do not overlook
other criteria. Here are my “wholistic” suggestions based on my 60 years
of holistic living:
Do not give up if the first
experience from a practitioner, modality or holistic product does
not work. Try another practitioner with different experience,
another modality, another brand or another form of the same
nutrient. Every body responds differently. Find a good match.
Ask the practitioner how many years
of total experience and in their specific modality they have.
Did they just take a two week certification course or have they been
training for the last 10 years?
Does the practitioner teach others?
This demonstrates a higher level of skill and passion in the subject
in my opinion.
Do research yourself on possible side
effects. Search the internet for case studies, testimonials and
other references yourself. Many doctors do not have the time to
read the Physicians
Desk Reference for Non-Prescription Drugs & Supplements
for every known product they dispense or recommend.
Use whatever works for you or your
pet. Do not make a judgment based on what everyone else says,
does or claims is "normal." Find a practitioner with enough
experience in their modality or products to help you or your pet's
individual circumstances. For some sensitive clients we need to
suggest a ¼-½ capsule/day amount in the very beginning. Others can
take 3-4 capsules the first day without incurring excessive detoxing
symptoms. No one size fits all but many years of experience can
determine a good starting point for each individual.
