March Sale

Most people buy on impulse, emotions or cost. But are these proper motivating factors for true holistic health? Remember the old saying, "you get what you pay for." Isolated supplements may be cheaper than whole food products but they only address one or two symptoms and when you discontinue supplements the symptoms (or disease) come back. One shouldn't take whole food products until the symptoms are gone and then stop, thinking one is healthy. To encourage people to start on the path of true holistic wellness, we have created the Starter Pack. Buy three bottles of the same formula BioSuperfood or BioPreparation and get a 33% discount off the third bottle. For example, if one buys three bottles of BSF-F3 at $125/bottle, the third bottle will earn a 33% discount or only cost $83.75. For three bottles of BP-F3+ at $45/bottle, the third bottle will earn a 33% discount or only cost $30.15.

Ignoring Lipomas Is Not Holistic
by Russell Louie

Lipomas or fatty tumors, are growths of fatty cells in a fibrous encapsulated body that usually grows just under the skin. Lipomas are the most common noncancerous growth. The cause of lipomas is not known but the tendency seems to be inherited in people and prevalent in certain dog breeds. Current medical opinion is: no treatment is necessary unless they become tender, painful or infected or they increase abnormally in size and become bothersome. There is no known medical treatment for people or pets to prevent lipomas or reduce and eliminate them. In our holistic opinion, that’s like ignoring the smoke alarm by taking the batteries out.

When fatty tumors appear, it is a sign the body is trying to get rid of unwanted material but Sweeping dirt under rugbecause it is out of balance it can’t process this unwanted material through normal channels (kidneys, liver, intestines, etc.). Since the endocrine (glandular) and immune systems are usually not functioning at 100%, the body does the next best thing and tries to encapsulate this unwanted material and get it out of the way through the largest excretory organ of the body, the skin. It’s like sweeping the dirt underneath the rug when you don’t know what to do with it. The fatty tumor (lipoma) is that lump of dirt under the rug (skin).

Surgically removing the lipoma, liposuction, salve, herbal remedies and steroid injections are all options for removing the fatty tumor but this does nothing to address the original cause of the problem. The lipomas or fatty tumors are a red flag that the body is not in balance and eliminating waste properly. It is only a matter of time before this inefficiency catches up to produce something more serious, as in this cancer story. If the tumors are signaling the body’s metabolism is out of balance because of inefficient adrenals and/or a malfunctioning thyroid gland, what consequences could this have on the entire endocrine and immune systems? If the endocrine system is imbalanced, could this affect the replicating DNA in new cells causing them to be abnormal (cancerous)? We holistically believe it is not wise just to ignore the lipomas (fatty tumors) just as it is not wise to ignore the smoke alarm.

Based on our holistic experience, the first (and cheapest) course of action is to look at changing the diet. For people, this means eliminating processed foods (especially those with polyunsaturated fats or trans fatty acids), foods with preservatives and chemicals and eating more fresh vegetables and fruits. For our carnivorous cats and dogs, this means little to no carbohydrates (wheat, corn and soy products are the worst), sugars and absolutely no preservatives and chemicals (like propylene glycol). Essentially, we need to give the body more ingredients the body was designed to eat by Nature and then there will be less waste material to eliminate. If a change in diet doesn’t work, then a natural herb, homeopathic remedy or other natural supplement might be necessary to boost up the kidneys and liver function and balance the endocrine and immune systems in order to get rid of all the lipomas. But using these remedies is like putting your finger in the dike to stop the water leak (remember the little Dutch boy fable?). You’ve reduced the fatty tumor(s) but have not addressed the cause.

If a change in diet doesn’t work, our preference over supplements would be a totally holistic approach using whole food products, which are safer and have very little (if any) side effects. If a glandular imbalance is the cause, one should holistically balance ALL the glands and organs of the Ginger & Hubie-lipomabody. Whole food products do not just target one gland, organ or body system to boost up but holistically balance ALL of them. When all the glands and organs are 100% efficient and the diet contains minimal waste products, there should be no need for lipomas or fatty tumors to form. For an animal case study on how these concepts can work, read this lipoma case study on how a two year old standard poodle eliminated over 10 lipomas.

If you are still not convinced that lipomas need addressing, read this
cancer story.
