I recently had my third auto accident in six years. In addition to the soreness
and headaches from the whiplash, I also experienced soreness, achy muscles and
fatigue from the intense—but very beneficial—bodywork I was undergoing. As
an Aromatherapist, I decided to put my practice to use. The following is my
essential oil treatment plan to avoid sore achy muscles from the auto accident
and subsequent bodywork or physical therapy:
Immediately after any bodywork or physical therapy, I apply the essential oil
blends of Relieve It™, PanAway™, and Aroma Siez™ topically. In the evening, I
take a hot bath with Epsom Salt and essential oils. Because the oils and water
do not mix well I always mix my essential oils in a bath gel base first. This
emulsifies the oils, makes the oil droplets smaller and suspends them in the
water. I apply the bath gel mixture directly to the sore areas of my body before
I get into the bath.
In addition to the above oil blends, I might add lemongrass (for ligaments),
basil (muscle spasms and inflammation), cypress (circulation), lavender
(relaxation) and Idaho Balsam Fir (sore muscles) according to my needs at that
moment. On exiting the bath, I stand up slowly to maximize the oil that clings
to my skin and pat myself dry with a towel to leave as much of the essential
oils on my skin as possible.
For headaches, I use Relieve It™, PanAway™, Aroma Siez™, and Idaho Balsam Fir
Did you know that 40% of dogs will contract cancer during their lifetime? If
you have a Golden Retriever, this number rises to an astonishing 63%! We believe
the causes of this include feeding our pets commercial pet foods, excessive
vaccination, environmental pollution and poor breeding practices (such as puppy
mills, the usual source of pet store animals). Cats also have a high cancer
though not as high as dogs.
What can you do if your dog is in this 40%? Or if your dog or cat is healthy
how can you prevent it from becoming a cancer statistic? The foundation of
is good nutrition, so the first thing we would recommend is to work with a
holistic vet who promotes feeding fresh raw food to dogs/cats and minimal
vaccination. In addition to this, we offer a whole food supplement that was
originally developed by a Russian scientist, Dr. Kiriac, to treat cancer in
animals. We feed this to our animals and take it ourselves, to help prevent
degenerative diseases including cancer.
Dr. Kiriac's research mandate from the government was to find a way to treat
cancer. He was also personally motivated to find a treatment since he had lost 7
members of his family to a genetic form of pancreatic cancer. After years of
research with all kinds of isolated vitamins and supplements, as well as
chlorella, spirulina and other micro algae, he discovered a blend of 4 micro
algae that was able to halt cancer in many of the research animals.
Unfortunately, this discovery came 2 years too late to save his mother from
pancreatic cancer. But all his brothers are alive today after taking this
formula for many years.
This special algae blend is unlike any spirulina product you can buy in the
store due to the unique combination of 4 algae and the special growing
conditions used to optimize the nutrients—it is a true nutraceutical-grade
This formula was named "BioSuperfood" and just recently became available in this
country. BioSuperfood is a proprietary blend of four specific algae that has a
synergistic effect not found when taking these algae separately. The synergism
of the blend promotes complete assimilation of the food you eat so that you
absorb the vitamins and minerals from it and can either reduce or eliminate
supplements. BioSuperfood promotes healing by feeding the brain, which then
directs the rest of the body to heal whatever is wrong with it, using the innate
intelligence of the body.
Another benefit of BioSuperfood is that it is a whole food supplement, making it
safer than most isolated supplements that can be toxic when taken in excess.
This also means it is more complete nutritionally. Isolated supplements may be
missing other substances found in whole foods that are needed to make it work
optimally. For instance, Vitamin C works better when combined with rutin and
bioflavonoids contained in whole oranges. Who knows what else is in oranges that
is needed to make Vitamin C work optimally that our scientists haven't
discovered yet? It makes sense to simply eat the whole food to ensure we have
Those whole foods that are most nutritionally-dense are called "superfoods".
Micro algae, such as found in Biosuperfood, contain more nutrition per ounce than
anything you can eat, including bee pollen, the most nutritionally dense
land-based food. The nutrients in BioSuperfood include:
All essential minerals: calcium with 80% net assimilation, zinc, sodium, iron,
phosphorus, and potassium
In addition to assisting your animal in dealing with or preventing cancer,
results seen with BioSuperfood and animals include:
Silkier, shinier coat
When we gave BioSuperfood to our elderly cat who was dying of kidney disease, we
saw improvement after just 2 days, showing us the power of this supplement.

Raw Meaty Bones Promote Health by Tom Lonsdale

This is an eye opening book on the dangers of commercial pet foods to our pets'
health and the resistance of the veterinary industry to admitting this. We can't
improve on the book's description on Amazon.com, as follows:
A graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in London, Dr. Lonsdale has spent the
last ten years campaigning to get the good-health message across to
and pet owners. In his new book Raw Meaty Bones he explains the advantages of
feeding pets a more natural diet. When puppies and kittens under his care grew
to be adults suffering degenerative disease and showing signs of premature
Tom started to take notice. ‘At first I couldn’t understand it’ says Tom.
‘These animals were getting a modern diet and what I believed was the highest
possible standards of care and yet were still developing ‘dog-breath’
accompanied by sore and bleeding gums and rotting teeth’. He began to suspect
that he, and most other vets, were probably treating the symptoms rather than
tackling the underlying problem.
In fact, more than 75% of domestic pets over the age of three years suffer from
periodontal disease (rotten teeth and gums). This can lead to other
even life-threatening diseases affecting the heart, kidneys and immune system.
Irritating skin diseases and behavioral problems—reasons many owners consult
their vet—are often due to the canned and dry pet foods.
For the price of a 15 minute consultation with your vet Raw Meaty Bones Promote
Health provides hours of reading pleasure. In 391 easy-to-read pages you can
discover masses of information not available in whole libraries of veterinary
textbooks. If you are a pet owner this book will likely be one of the best
investments that you have ever made. Big savings in vet bills and feed bills
are likely to be measurable benefits.
