Buy three
bottles of any combination of
BioSuperfood or
BioPreparation
and get a 30% discount off the least expensive bottle. For
example, if one buys three bottles of BSF-F3 at $125/bottle, the third
bottle will earn a 30% discount ($37.50) or only cost $87.50. Another
scenario would be to purchase two bottle BSF-F2 and one BP-F2+ for
pets. In this case, the BP-F2+ bottle ($25 full retail) would only cost
$17.50 for a 30% discount.
You must mention "February's Sale" in your phone order, e-mail or shopping cart
(in the Special Instructions box). Your 30% discount will not
show up in the shopping cart total but will be
deducted prior to your credit card being charged. Sale good thru midnight MST,
February 29, 2008. This offer is only good for our loyal
e-newsletter
readers and will not be published to the general public.

Description:
The distilled oil of the Ruta Gavelolens plant (indigenous to Ecuador)
has been combined with the sedative and calming properties of
valerian and lavender oils, to produce a most powerful natural sleep
aid. Ruta has been used historically in South America for
depression when applied to the concave base of the skull. Ruta has
also been studied for its hormonal properties in helping to ease
the discomfort of menstrual cramping and to help balance both
male and female hormonal activity.
RutaVaLa blend could help promote
relaxation of the body and mind, easing tension and
relieving stress. This blend could help overcome negative
feelings, while encouraging positive attitudes and comfort.
This blend may be beneficial to those with insomnia.

• Are you
buying supplements for skin/coat, itching and digestive problems?
• Are you buying supplements for pain, inflammation and flexibility
issues?
• Are you buying supplements for hormonal or glandular imbalances?
• Are you tired of buying “holistic” supplements that don’t work?
As discussed last month, many supplements treat symptoms and have
side effects. In today's
economic climate, wouldn't you like to buy
fewer isolated supplements and save money. A true holistic product will
wake up the body's natural ability to heal and can be decreased or
discontinued as the body is balanced, not make the body dependent on the
supplement. Discover a new paradigm in holistic healthcare by using
whole food products instead of risky supplements. Here are some ways
to simplify your life with fewer supplements and ones that work.
Once oil is pressed or extracted, a time clock starts. Heat, light and
exposure to oxygen all start degrading the oil immediately. The
expiration date on most oil supplements are 12-18 months from the date
of manufacturing. I personally would not buy any oil that is within six
months of expiring because it probably has already started to go rancid
(even if it smells OK) and does not contain the original potency. I also
would not buy any oils that were not packaged in dark glass bottles and
were not refrigerated on the shelf (most pet store oils are not
refrigerated). So, how can one obtain a good quality Omega oil
supplement for a good coat, reducing inflammation and boosting the
immune system?
Where do the fish get their source of Omega oils? It's from the algae
they eat in the water. Getting your Omega oils from the source, is far
better than any man-made processed supplement. Our algae product BioPreparation
contains Essential Fatty Acids (EFA—the “good fats that heal”) of
Omega 3, 6, and 9, and rare GLA (its high gamma linoleic acid content is
similar to early mother's milk), ALAs (Alpha-Linolenic Acids), DGLA (Dihomogamma-Linolenic
Acid), DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) and more. A special
freeze-drying process preserves the algae and its EFAs for over three
years without refrigeration. No Omega oil supplement can match that.
Another reason to get EFAs from the source is many supplements are
inappropriate for carnivores. Here is a quote from out latest e-Book
Save Your Dog or Cat.
"We don’t suggest using flax oil or flaxseed because the fatty acids in
it must be converted to create the EPA and DHA required by the body.
Carnivores don’t have the enzymes to make this conversion. Cats, being
pure carnivores, have no need for and therefore don’t produce the
enzymes that convert plant oils into EPA and DHA. Flax oil or seed
added to pet food and supplements is virtually useless to a cat."
While your pet may get some benefits from a flax supplement, why pay
money for something Nature didn't intend carnivores to eat? Here is
another reason to not rely on supplements.
The body is supposed to get enzymes from at least three sources: raw
meat, live plant foods and by manufacturing its own, such as digestive
enzymes in the pancreas. When we feed our pets cooked dry kibble
and canned foods (heat kills enzymes) their source of live enzymes
is gone. A malfunctioning or over-stressed pancreas can result from
eating too much dry kibble with excessive carbohydrates and sugar.
As pets get older, their enzyme production decreases. Without enough raw
materials (e.g., co-factors, co-enzymes, minerals, amino acids, etc.) to
manufacture its own enzymes, digestive problems surface. The body
signals the brain, "I need more digestive enzymes." So, the body starts
to look for more raw materials and increases its signal to the pancreas
to produce more enzymes. Maybe you are smart enough to recognize this
from the symptoms or your vet diagnoses a lack of enzymes for your pet,
so you start giving a digestive enzyme supplement with amylase, lactase,
protease, lipase, bromelain, papain, etc. Soon, the symptoms of enzyme
deficiency disappear and the body sends a signal to the brain, "enzyme
deficiency has been resolved." What have you done to make your pet’s
body naturally heal itself by manufacturing more enzymes? Have you given
it more raw materials? Have you increased the signal from the brain to
the pancreas? Will taking digestive enzyme supplements fix a lazy
malfunctioning pancreas? The answer is obviously, NO. In essence, by
supplementing the digestive enzyme deficiency one has left a lazy
pancreas and made your pet’s body dependent on the supplement for the
rest of its life. These same principles apply to people who only eat
cooked and processed foods and no raw foods. Think of how many people
who are pre-diabetic or diabetic (over stressed pancreas), that might also have an enzyme
deficiency accompanied by poor digestion and absorption of nutrients.
Modern studies show the maximum absorption
and utilization of isolated (often synthetic) vitamins and supplements
is only 10-25%. That's because they do not have the proper enzymes,
amino acids, minerals and other complementary ingredients and nutrients
Nature said are needed to synergistically work together. So,
75% of what you are paying for in isolated supplements, is
flushed down the toilet or eliminated by your pet. That's why
recommended supplement doses range from 1000-5000 mg/day just to receive
benefits. This is not true
for whole food products since they do contain all the the above
necessary ingredients as formulated by Nature. See our
Supplements vs. Whole
Food Nutrition article for more details.
Because supplements can have side effects, don’t address the original
cause of the symptoms/disease, are an inefficient source of
nutrients and create a dependency on the supplement for life, we prefer using whole food products.
Seacure® (predigested white
fish) has been used for disturbed digestion, irritable bowel
symptoms, leaky gut syndrome, diarrhea, vomiting, and boosting the
immune system. We have used an algae product, called BioPreparation,
for allergies, irritable bowel disease (IBD), chronic renal failure
(CRF), diabetes, lipomas or fatty tumors, thyroid and other glandular
imbalances, any auto-immune condition and even a mast cell cancer tumor
with no side effects.
BioPreparation has the potential to replace
all supplements of Omega oils, arthritis pain, inflammation,
flexibility, digestive enzymes, skin/coat/rash, mineral and
multivitamins. Whole food products nourish the body and wake up its
natural ability to heal. Think about nutritionally helping all the above
health challenges with just two whole food products. Save money,
simplify your life and make you and your pet healthier by using whole food
products instead of risky and sometimes ineffective isolated
supplements.
