This month's article is dedicated to all the caregivers out there
(you know who you are). What do the airlines instruct you to do when the
oxygen masks drop down from the panel above your seat? If you are
traveling with someone else (especially children), put your oxygen
mask on first before attempting to assist others. Why is that? I
learned why from first-hand experience but not in an airplane.
The demand for our holistic products and expertise is so great at

Those who have requested support know you are more likely to receive an
e-mail reply at 1:00 AM than at 1:00 PM. Getting through by telephone

body endure this? I discovered the answer, at least for my own body.
Just before Christmas our cat, Iris, stopped eating. We originally
thought she had a respiratory infection after being stuck in a tree
outside for two nights. After two different antibiotics did not help,
our holistic vet did
an ultrasound and Iris was diagnosed with advanced intestinal lymphoma
the week before Christmas. Our options were chemotherapy, Prednisone,

In order to assist in Iris' recovery from lymphoma, we had to
administer subcutaneous fluids,
syringe
food,
Quantum Stilus remedies, supplements or whole food products and give Reiki energy every 4-5 hours. Because I work
from our home/office and have flexible hours, I was designated to meets
Iris' needs between the hours of 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM. When Iris learned
she could request food, Reiki or attention at any hour, she frequently
woke me up at least twice every night. This means I was only getting a
maximum 5-6 hours of sleep a night and no more than 3-4 consecutive
hours. After one month on this schedule I became sleep deprived and was was falling asleep at the
keyboard during the day, making bookkeeping errors and being
short-tempered with our pets, my wife and lastly our customers
(hopefully some of them were understanding). Being a stubborn Taurus, I
persisted in continuing this insanity hoping things would improve by
themselves. I continued to make bad decisions, causing small personal
accidents and finally getting sick. I first got an ear infection
which caused me to get dizzy and lose my balance every
time I got up from bed or too fast from sitting. According to Louise L.

You Can Heal Your Life, ear problems relate to the inability
to hear. I literally needed to hear my own advice I was giving to others and bring
back more balance in my life.
As a Wholistic Scientist and Holistic Wellness Consultant,
I am always advising others to go back to the
basics
(natural foods, pure water, pure air
and rest) to attain wellness.
STOP supplementing the symptoms (with isolated supplements) and
address the real cause of illness by eating a balanced diet of whole
foods and regain balance in one's own life. Hello, Russell!
Working 12-16 hour days, 365 days/year is not balanced. So, in
order to assist Iris in her recovery from advanced intestinal lymphoma
and to continue to serve others in their holistic journey, I needed to
put my oxygen mask on first. A sick or exhausted Wholistic
Scientist and Holistic Wellness Consultant cannot help anyone. One of my
Board of Directors members bluntly told me, "I do not care how good BioSuperfood is, it
will not save you from death and that is what is going to happen if you
continue to push your body to work as hard as you are doing."
Now that we have cared for Iris for two full months and she is
showing wonderful signs of recovering from advanced intestinal lymphoma,
I am only fulfilling one of Iris' night time requests. Whenever I have
an early morning appointment, I feed Iris right before going to bed and
close the bedroom door so she cannot wake me up. When I cannot stay
awake during the day, I take a nap. And I am finally taking time off on weekends
to enjoy life with my wife, Margaret and our other pets.
