ARCH stands for Ancient
Rainbow Conscious Healing and is a form of energy healing based on ancient
Hawaiian shamanism. The technique was developed by Reiki master Laurie Keako'a'
Grant. In recognition of her service in reviving this ancient technique, the
native Hawaiians initiated Laurie as a Kahuna (traditional Hawaiian healer),
even though she is a white woman.
Reiki has been called the Emerald Ray because it
operates out of the heart chakra (energy center) and its traditional color is
green. ARCH is the full spectrum and encompasses all of the rays. It has the
ability to heal instantaneously and resonates at such a high frequency that it
can make people go into altered states. It operates out of the throat chakra.
Is ARCH better than Reiki?
No. That's like asking if one type of massage or bodywork is better than
another. All healing techniques have their uses and their place. ARCH can be
more powerful and quicker than Reiki in certain situations to break through
energy blockages and accelerate healing. However, not all people and animals can
tolerate this increased energy. Reiki can be more gentle than ARCH since it is
based in the heart center. Your ARCH practitioner has experience and training in
sensing intuitively when it is appropriate to use ARCH and when it is more
appropriate to use Reiki. The two techniques can also be combined in one
session.
Why do ARCH on animals?
Like humans, our pets can have physical, emotional and mental problems. Also,
animals that live with us often take on their owner's problems, in an attempt to
heal them. If the animal can't discharge the energy, this can make them sick. An
animal that has been abused or simply not had the proper environment when young
can carry trauma in their body that needs healing. While it is true that animals
are our healers, sometimes we need to be
their healers too.
Providing ARCH treatments for our pets is a loving way to extend healing
energy to them. It can help reduce pain and enhance the animal's innate healing
ability, leading to accelerated recovery from injuries and illness.
What happens during an ARCH treatment?
As with a Reiki treatment, you lie fully clothed on a table or sit
comfortably in a chair. The ARCH practitioner will move their hands over each
energy center of the body to draw down the ARCH energy and activate that center.
What results can I expect from ARCH?
Most people report feeling more relaxed and energized. ARCH can assist with
healing and balancing all levels of the body: physical, emotional and mental.
The practitioner does not control the energy or the outcome of the treatment.
Rather, the intelligence of the ARCH energy is in charge and the practitioner is
simply assisting in directing it to the person or animal.
