In our "wholistic" opinion, dry kibble dog food is the least nutritious form of food to feed a carnivore. Furthermore, a majority of all pet food recalls is with dry food. She Persisted and Rewarded With Resolved IBD (or Lymphoma) Symptoms

Digestive disorders (Inflammatory Bowel Disease-IBD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome-IBS, colitis, leaky gut, food allergies, chronic vomiting and/or diarrhea, etc.) are the hardest to address by a healthcare practitioner and the most frustrating for the client because of a lack of permanent results. Our clients spend thousands of dollars on special diets, drugs, natural (but not entirely holistic) isolated digestive supplements and other treatment with only partial success. From our holistic perspective, part of the reason is they expect instant allopathic Western medicine results (like drugs) from holistic products. Here are some of the many reasons digestive disorders are so challenging:

1. Multiple causes of digestive symptoms—an exact diagnosis is sometimes impossible and therefore it is difficult to find the right combination of drugs, herbs, supplements, etc. to "fix" the symptoms.

2. Results take a longer time within the digestive tract—it takes a healthy body 6 months to regenerate every cell in the intestines. Most clients give up after 1-2 months if a remedy does not produce significant benefits. Few clients are willing to give a remedy six months to achieve results.

3. Never addressing all the potential digestive imbalance causes—most drugs and supplements only help the symptoms in the digestive tract. New research shows early childhood trauma may affect their developing HPA (hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal) axis, thus causing digestive imbalances later in life. Unless a remedy can cross the blood/brain barrier to balance the glands in the brain, there may be no hope of permanent resolution in these circumstances. Here is an example of a client persisting with her pet using our holistic products, only one of which is advertised to specifically “fix” digestive symptoms, and getting amazing results (even better than drugs). These same “wholistic” principles also apply to people.

A client came to us with a 12 year old cat, 17 pounds, being fed a grain-free dry kibble diet. Complaints were chronic constipation, hairballs and vomiting his food almost immediately or approximately 1/2 hour after he ate. After 14 days of vet prescribed Cerenia, the symptoms improved but when stopped the vomiting began again. Ultrasound revealed slight thickening of his stomach wall, some slight inflammation of his lymph nodes and Ben's right kidney did not "look good". Prednisolone was prescribed. Also giving Standard Process Renal Support, Gastriplex by Thorne Research, Dr. Silver’s Rx Biotics, slippery elm, along with Vitality Science probiotic supplements. In 2015, the vet diagnosed IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) or lymphoma. The client did not opt for a biopsy to determine the exact diagnosis. In December 2015, she first started our advanced formula, bio-algae concentrates product, BioPreparation-f3+. Then she added our Seacure, which is advertised to nutritionally support digestive symptoms.

One afternoon in February, 2016, Ben was walking awkwardly and just feeling poorly with his tummy issues. The client then remembered she had forgotten to give the BioPreparation-f3+ lately. A few days after she began adding small pinches per meal of bio-algae concentrates powder, she could see an improvement in his brightness, then his activity increased and his overall sense of well being just seemed to be kick started over the ensuing days. Fast forward to one month later on BioPreparation-f3+, Ben is remarkably better, so she starts to wean him from Prednisolone. By October 2016, he was weaned from Prednisolone.

In December 2016, she added our polysaccharide peptide product (PSP), ALPHA-G. As of March, 2017, Ben has regained the strength and muscle tone he lost from the steroids. She also believes it helped keep his stomach calm. Ben has been stable with the ALPHA-G added…no vomiting! Ben has even been able to tolerate a couple novel proteins now. Ben has less stool volume, which she attributes to better absorption of his food (also a benefit of decreasing or eliminating dry kibble food). All the above are indicators of how whole food products, such as ALPHA-G, BioPreparation-f3+ and Seacure, can nutritionally nourish and balance ALL the glands and organs of the WHOLE body, not just the digestive tract to make it close to 100% efficient.

The holistic point of this article is not to praise how well our holistic, whole food products resolved IBD symptoms but to stress the time it took to see significant benefits. It took 15 months, from December, 2015 to March, 2017, to accomplish these benefits. The client used only one product, Seacure, advertised to support digestive imbalances, while the other two, BioPreparation-f3+ and ALPHA-G are simply whole food products that nourish and balance ALL the glands and organs of the WHOLE body. While drugs and isolated supplements are designed to "fix" the symptoms fast, Nature designed the body so that only whole foods can permanently heal the body. It takes a healthy body that gets the proper nutrition and one that absorbs 90-100% of its food, six months to regenerate intestinal cells. If a body already has digestive imbalance symptoms and is not absorbing its food properly (for example, food allergies), it will take much longer than six months for the body to rebuild the digestive tract, especially one fed nutrient-deficient dry kibble. Only drugs and isolated supplements, with their high doses of just active ingredients, can work faster. But the disadvantages are that these products can have side effects, contraindications and create a dependency on the product because the original cause of the imbalance is never addressed. So if you are tired of spending thousands of dollars on special diets, changing food flavors, spending tons of money on drugs and isolated digestive supplements that only provide partial results, give your pet full spectrum nutrition (click green buttons below) from our whole food products (or take them yourself if you have a digestive disorder) and see what the body/brain can do to heal itself.
