Anemia is a very dangerous
condition in both people and pets, where the body does not have
an adequate amount of healthy red blood cells. Red blood cells
carry the supply of oxygen to all the body's organs and
tissues. More importantly, the brain is dependent on oxygen to
function. If the oxygen level is too critically low, seizures
and brain damage could occur and the body will shut down organ
functions.
Please see a qualified
medical or veterinary professional first, as acute anemia is a
very critical, life-threatening condition. Below is our holistic
experience helping anemic pets and people. We have more pet
testimonials because we focus on holistic pet solutions.
People are more reluctant to share their personal health
history. The "wholistic" principles below apply equally to both
people and pets.
If you have come to this page because your dog has Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA) or Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia
(IMHA) and
you are searching for a cure, our hearts go out to you. AIHA and IMHA are such
dreadful conditions, no pet guardian should have to experience these conditions
alone. The
Morris Animal Foundation estimates:
50% of dogs die within two weeks of
diagnosis
The mortality rate is up to 80%
Please do not wait any longer
to take action. A dog's condition can change in as little as 4 hours. The first AIHA/IMHA
client we helped was in 2002. Since then we
have helped 1300+ IMHA clients (some had a red blood cell count as low as 3). In sharing our experiences below, we hope to ease
your journey and that of your pet.
Conventional Western medicine does not hold much hope for an animal whose
blood count (HCT or PCV) is below 10%. We have many clients whose dog's lowest
red blood
cell count was below 10% (3-8% range) and they are still alive today. If you want a
complementary option to
the Prednisone, Neoral (cyclosporine), Azathioprine, Oxyglobin, Antepsin and other drugs, continue reading.
Prednisone and Prednisolone are the most commonly prescribed drugs
and while they do suppress the body's
immune system from attacking itself, they do nothing to regenerate the
red blood cells that are being destroyed at an accelerated rate, resulting in anemia. When red
blood cells are not manufactured at the bone marrow level, frequent
blood transfusions are needed and this condition is often fatal. Immune
Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) or Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA)
have a very high fatality rate
(nearly 50-80%). Some vets are
seeing the onset of this auto-immune disease shortly after vaccinations.
In Dr. Jean Hofve's article on
Vaccination she states:
"Several known risks are associated with one or more specific
vaccines. Antibodies are the goal of vaccination. We want the body to
produce antibodies against the disease being vaccinated against.
However, the vaccine manufacturing process contains some quirks that
cause the body to make antibodies to a wide variety of components in the
vaccine. Diseases associated with the tissues to which autoantibodies
are made include thyroiditis (which can lead to hypothyroidism in dogs),
lupus, cardiomyopathy, and autoimmune hemolytic anemia."
Based on our holistic (non-medical) perspective, we suspect any
hormonal changes or anything that compromises, shocks and/or traumatizes the
immune system could trigger these auto-immune conditions. Other IMHA/AIHA clients have
developed anemia during
pregnancy, just after delivery, after the first "heat" and just after
heartworm and/or flea & tick treatment (clients used FRONTLINE®, ComfortisTM, BioSpotTM, Bravecto®, HeartGard®,
Trifexis®, Sentinel®). If you still think
flea & tick treatment is absolutely safe for all pets, go to these

BioPreparation - it truly saved my dog’s life.
—Zach Steele & Gator
Vets said it was a
50/50 chance. I am feeding her with a syringe and carrying her
outside to potty.
This morning's blood count is 39!!!!! within the normal range
now. Has only been on the BioPreparation for about 10 days. We
are so happy!
—S.H.
Nino’s weight has been holding and his energy is that of a puppy—full
of life and joy. Every time I look at him, I feel blessed that he was
able to rebound from his perilous (IMHA) condition. Again, I thank
you, Russell, for your assistance during what was for Nino and me a very
difficult time.
From the bottom of my heart, I send you my utmost gratitude. Nino’s
return to health was the best Christmas present I have ever received.
Pooch had a rough night and needed CPR because he collapsed and his heart stopped. They were
able to revive him and gave him his tenth blood transfusion for IMHA. His lowest PCV
was about 8.
I am happy to report that his PCV is now 45, in the normal range.
We cannot thank you enough for your assistance. We are so happy we would
like to begin BioSuperfood
for ourselves.
During the 1970’s in the former U.S.S.R., their chicken, rabbit and mink
populations (all cash crops) were beset with a cancer epidemic. In 1973, Dr.
Michael Kiriac was tasked by the Moldova Academy of Sciences to research a
nutritional way to prevent cancer in animals. Current research at that time
pointed to the promise of algae, as a nutritional tool in preventing cancer. Out
of the 25,000+ species of algae on Earth, he chose more than 1,000 different
species to research. Bio-algae concentrates (BAC) is the generic name given to
the research algae mixture that Dr. Michael Kiriac used on mice, rats, chicken,
rabbits, mink, pigs and other livestock. After 20 years of research he
discovered the following BAC benefits:
50% of diseased chickens (including Marek disease, a type of cancer)
were put back into production
Ability to raise disease-free (including cancer) chickens without the
use of antibiotics and hormones
20% overall productivity increase in chickens
21% increased weight of chickens
Increased strength of eggshell and larger eggs
Better tasting eggs and meat
Prevention of cancer in rabbits
Shinier and longer fur in rabbits
Increased survival rate of newborns
Increased fertility—larger litters
Calmer moods
Prevention of viral and bacterial infections—overall healthier animals
Dangerously low white blood cell counts (due to leukemia) was increased
Regeneration of bone marrow, blood, spinal fluids and liver cells
You can order a copy of Dr. Kiriac’s book, Awakening the Genius Within,
documenting this research on over 20 animal species, at BioPreparation for Pets.
It is this ability of BAC to regenerate bone marrow and blood cells, that is
most relevant to IMHA. What research did Dr. Kiriac find to suggest algae could
help the body regenerate blood cells? Chinese scientists documented that phycocyanin stimulates hematopoesis (creation of blood), emulating the hormone
erythropoetin (EPO). EPO is produced by healthy kidneys and regulates bone
marrow stem cell production of red blood cells. They claim phycocyanin regulated
white blood cell production, even when bone marrow stem cells are damaged by
toxic chemicals or radiation.1
Since the above is purely research, we leave it up to the reader to draw
their own conclusions. Read our e-newsletter article,
July 2008, for more details on
ingredients that help build red blood cells.

Since 2002, we have been using BioPreparation/BioSuperfood (made with the
same four microalgae used in Dr. Kiriac's bio-algae concentrates) with many dogs
that have recovered from AIHA, IMHA and other auto-immune diseases. Out
of the 1150+ IMHA clients we have dealt with, many
are still alive. We suspect a number of the remaining cases are still alive but
unfortunately, most people treat whole food products just like supplements, in
that they only give them as long as their pet has symptoms. When the pet totally
recovers, they discontinue the product and never get back with us. To respect
the privacy of the guardians and sensitivity of the subject, we have not
followed up.
BioPreparation is a nutritional food product approved for cats and
dogs (and BioSuperfood for humans)
and we advertise nothing more. However, as you can see by customers'
testimonials, once their
animal's natural ability to heal has been awakened, the
healing power of the animal's body is unlimited. We say unlimited because
we have seen a mast cell cancer
tumor (fastest spreading type of cancer tumor) disappear in ten weeks
when chemotherapy and radiation treatments were declined. We have seen numerous
cases of dogs with IMHA and
AIHAmake a full recovery, after the vets had given up on
the dogs (blood cell count down to 8). The most recent case on the
Yahoo Group Board was
Jeanna's dog who was dying and she literally saw improvement within 24-48 hours
after giving BioPreparation. We will leave it up to the reader to draw their own
conclusions regarding this super nutritional product and Auto-Immune
Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA).
How
did BioPreparation/BioSuperfood do this? It didn't. BioPreparation simply
supplied the super nutrients to the body at the cellular
level (microalgae are one cell organisms) rather than trying to 'fix' the
problem with drugs or a supplement that needs to be digested and broken down in
the digestive tract. Since
we are not medically trained, our guess (based on 20+ years of bio-algae
concentrates animal research) is that BioPreparation has the ability to
stimulate the body's own natural ability to heal. When the body is
holistically balanced and all the glands and organs are functioning at close to
100%, then the body can resume red blood cell production at the bone marrow
level all by itself. When the master gland (pituitary), pineal and
hypothalamus in the brain are synergistically
working together, the bone marrow is naturally producing healthy red blood
cells. We see very quick
results after starting BioPreparation. BioPreparation contains super
nutrients (specifically abundant antioxidants in the form of mixed carotenoids
from its four microalgae)
that can awaken the master gland in the brain, which controls all the other glands and organs of the body and,
of course, red blood cell production. Since no one knows exactly why
IMHA and AIHA occur, boosting and balancing the whole body is the most holistic
approach to the regeneration of red blood cells, which after all, is controlled
by the brain. Based on our 6 years of nutritional experience with the products,
we can share a few lessons that we have learned to help you avoid any unpleasant
circumstances.
We have seen animal guardians give too much BioPreparation, too fast in the
beginning (in hopes of "healing" their pet quickly) with the initial results
being vomiting and/or diarrhea. While this is not a side effect of the product,
the results are unpleasant (for both the animal and guardian). In our holistic opinion, these signs show the
product is working by waking up the animal's natural ability to heal and purging
toxins from the body but the dosage is more aggressive than the body can handle.
We suggest a beginning introduction of 1/2 capsule per day (1/4 morning + 1/4
evening) for small animals and 1.0 capsule per day (1/2 morning + 1/2 evening)
for large animals. In emergency cases where the animal is not eating and death
looks to be imminent, this could be accelerated to 1/2 capsule every 4 hours,
at the guardian's discretion.
It is best to mix the algae powder in wet food but in extreme cases where the
animal is not eating, the guardians have mixed the algae powder in water and
squirted the mixture with an eye dropper or syringe directly into the animal's
mouth to stimulate the appetite. Normally (non-fatal conditions), we suggest holding this beginning
dosage for 3-5 days and then increasing by 1/4 or 1/2 capsule per day, as long as
the animal's body is adjusting (no detoxing symptoms). But in extreme cases,
this can be accelerated by increasing the daily dosage by 1/4 or 1/2 capsule per
day every 1-2 days as needed. Our rule of thumb is, give as much as the animal
can tolerate without exacerbating the current symptoms or causing detoxing
symptoms to appear. For further dosage suggestions, click on
BioPreparation Usage.
Here is a testimony for a
dog whose blood cell count was down to 16.7% and still declining (normal range
is 37-55%). The dog is alive and well
today, two years later (June, 2007).
Gator Testimonial
My
purebred boxer, Gator, developed anemic symptoms two weeks after a car
accident. The bone marrow disorder was eating his red blood cells. His blood
count was down to 16% and he had to have two blood transfusions within a month.
I have spent over $4000 on my dog and the vets had given up on him. Gator was on
several different medications including high-powered steroids and he was only
maintaining life, barely. I did some research on my own and found the
BioPreparation product, so I called to inquire and after hearing the information
decided that I had nothing to lose. I initially gave Gator 4 capsules per day of
the BioPreparation along with the steroids and other medications and he started
to improve almost immediately. After a month or so we discontinued all
medication except for the BioPreparation at 4 per day and Gator was not only
maintaining life, but actually recovering. His blood count was increasing with
every vet visit. One year later Gator is still on 4 capsules per day, but he is
the healthiest he has been in a long time. I just had his yearly check up and he
checked out with normal blood count and no sign of the anemic disorder
whatsoever. I owe it all to the BioPreparation - it truly saved my dog’s life.
Thank you so much,
Zach Steele & Gator

Our IMHA holistic research is opening up the doors for a natural, alternative
way to help dogs, in addition to steroids, antibiotics and immune
suppressant drugs that vets must prescribe. As more canine guardians started to find us, our
survival rate started to increase dramatically. We did not start to keep accurate statistics until
2008. Optimum Choices handles approximately one IMHA/AIHA case per week. Our
IMHA survival (recovery) success rate is shown below.

Holistic Approach to a Deadly Condition—IMHA by clicking the button
below:
Suggested Amounts
At
the onset of AIHA, we always suggest one start with the most
advanced bio-algae concentrates
formula, BioPreparation-f3+ (pink label, 60 capsules, $45). BioPreparation-f3+ has
the most antioxidants and super nutrition that can actually cross the
blood/brain barrier to awaken the master gland and brain's organs.
Normally, we would suggest a gradual daily amount introduction to our nutraceutical product,
BioPreparation. However, if your pet is not eating, see the emergency
suggestions at the bottom of our Saved
Lives testimonial web page. After the blood count improves and
stabilizes into the normal range, one can consider either reducing the
high beginning dosage or transitioning to the maintenance formula,
BioPreparation-f2+, if desired. This all depends on the age, genetics
and recovery of the dog.
While some of our testimonials have used the maintenance formula
(because that is all they had), BioPreparation-f2+ (green label),
successfully, we still suggest starting with the adanced bio-algae
concentrates formula,
BioPreparation-f3+ (pink label). No one really knows the exact triggers
for this deadly condition and we have seen a dog's condition change in as little as
four hours. What if the general nutrition formula does not work? The
body's natural ability to heal does not turn back on immediately.
In AIHA cases, a balance must be achieved between
giving too much, too fast and possibly giving enough to
save a pet's life. Below
are some general guidelines. Since each animal is different, it is left
up to the animal's guardian, who is most familiar with the
circumstances, which course of action to follow. Our basic rule of thumb
is,
one can give as much as the body can tolerate
without exacerbating the current symptoms or causing
detoxing symptoms to appear.
If you (or your pet) has undergone recent
surgery, is under any type of prescription drug program, undergoing
chemotherapy/radiation treatment or has actively growing tumors, we
suggest a very gradual introduction to BioSuperfood/BioPreparation. We have seen
both people and pets get too much BioSuperfood/BioPreparation, too fast in the beginning
(in hopes of "healing" quickly) with the initial results being
vomiting and/or diarrhea. While this is not a side effect of the
product, the results are unpleasant. In our holistic opinion, these
signs show the product is working by waking up the body's natural
ability to heal and purging toxins from the body but the dosage is more
aggressive than the body can handle. For any of the previously mentioned
conditions, we suggest the following beginning dosages:
Small size animals = 1/2 capsule per day
(1/4 morning +1/4 evening) for the first 5 days
Medium and large size animals = 1.0 capsule per day
(1/2 morning + 1/2 evening) for the first 5 days
People = 1.0 capsules per day (with a
meal) for the first 5-10 days
Hold this beginning dosage for the above time
interval and increase incrementally at the same time interval if the
body adjusts without any problems to this new superfood.
In emergency cases where
the animal is not eating and death looks to be imminent, this could be
accelerated to 1/2 capsule every 2-4 hours. One can mix the algae powder
in 1/2 cup of water and administer with an eye dropper or syringe. Be
careful not to squirt the water too far back into the throat or too
forcefully, as to cause gagging.
Our rule of thumb is, give as much as the body can tolerate without
exacerbating the current symptoms or causing detoxing symptoms to
appear.
If one wants to take action
before BioPreparation arrives, here is a suggestion based on our
nutritional holistic experience. Go to the health food store and buy the
best algae/Spirulina product you can, that has two or more species of
algae in it. Alternatively, buy 2-4 single bottles with a single algae
in them. Look for algae species such as
Spirulina Pacifica, Spirulina Platensis,
Dunaliella, Astaxanthin,
blue-green algae, Hawaiian algae, chlorella and Aphanizomenon flos-aquae
(AFA). Also, buy some liquid chlorophyll in either a dropper bottle
or gel capsules. Mix approximately 1/4 teaspoon of the algae powder and
one dropper full (about 25 drops) of the liquid chlorophyll (or poke a hole in the gel
capsule to squeeze the chlorophyll out) into a 1/2 cup of water. Then
administer with an eye
dropper or syringe as above. One can do this every four hours or so,
depending on the severity of the symptoms and tolerance of the dog's
body.

My Anya had IMHA or AIHA - yesterday we got
excellent results with her PCV/Hematocrit back in the normal range.
She is currently doing extremely well after a very rocky road at times.
We have used the F2 & F3 capsules with great results. When we started
using it - it only took a low dose for Anya (weight 25+kgs) of 1/2
capsule 4 times daily to bring Anya's red blood cells to a reasonable
level- she had been down to 7% - yesterday she was 39% and
has varied over the last 5 months.
When I first contacted Russell my Anya had very
little hope for long term or even short term survival but now all that
has changed and we are hoping for a completely relapse-free future.
Fingers crossed!!!
Russell thank you - Anya is doing great!!!

Our Debra is also a rescue and diagnosed with IMHA.
The title of "rescue" makes us believe she was brought into our life for
a reason and today she remains growing ever stronger despite what the
doctors told us. Now you are here with us, seeking the answers we all
reach for.
I have been in the medical field over 30 years and
know that when conventional medicine fails, we ultimately lean harder on
prayer and natural healing. Not only do we believe in Bioalgae,
we have living
proof bouncing around the house again. Debra's PCV went down to
11 and I refused to transfuse. The vets thought I was giving up, but
I told them I had hope and a way to help her despite the death
sentence they gave us.
I wrote to this board after reading every post and
ordered our product immediately. Since, we tell everyone who is left
with no "option" that we can show them one...and we do. This is
truly the beginning to a new and healthier life. We have 3 months to
continue on the Prednisone, but I can foresee we will be off it long
before as we are already down to 5mg Q 12 hrs.

UPDATE: (copied from Bio-Algae for
Animals Yahoo Group Message Board,
Message #994) Debra's labs are totally normal!!! They are even better than normal.
She is once again the little terrorist that captured our hearts and
tortures our sanity with her antics.
We are weaning farther down off the Prednisone to 1/2 tab Q2. For the
love of God and medical science, I do not understand why this vet
remains adamant about 4 months of therapy...... Despite my argument
regarding longevity of WBC's that were aboard at onset, until we gained
control over production, and the relevance of their non-existence for
some time....we should be in the clear....and further driving it home:
With the BP F3+ product onboard just days after diagnosis: I am more
than confident that the "wbc factory" has been purged of confused
defector WBC's, only top of the line new WBC's are present, and the red
cells are all brand new with no strange bugs attached to them.
Debra was purged (ie cleaned) with BP F3+ for 3.5 months and moved to BP
F+2 a month ago. I feel we were over indulging ourselves in cleansing
for that amount of time, but no harm no foul with such a
pure product.. it can only do good....and she will forever be a BP-F3+
girl .
—Belinda
Our 7 1/2 year old Beagle was diagnosed with IMHA yesterday, she
has not eaten in 3 days, I feel like I am watching her die
right now. The vet has her on Prednisone and Amoxicillin
as of yesterday, but I don't think she is even receiving the medication
as she throws up shortly after I give it to her. Vets said it was a
50/50 chance. I am feeding her with a syringe and carrying her
outside to potty.
One week ago today I started Rainbow on BioPreparation and her blood
count was 12. Rainbow's blood count this morning is 31!
This morning's blood count is 39!!!!! within the normal range
now. Has only been on the BioPreparation for about 10 days. We
are so happy!
—S.H.
(08/28/2008 update) Rainbow's blood count is above normal and has
been for over three months now. No other symptoms of IMHA
present. She is doing absolutely great and we totally attribute it to
your
BioPreparation, no doubt in our mind! We are just happy
customers! If I could afford it I would be on it too, but since I am
actually the "healthy" one in the family I just count my blessings.
Drugs are certainly necessary in the acute
stages of AIHA/IMHA to save the pet's life. As the body starts to
recover, the brain tries to normalize the production of new red (anemia) and white blood cells (leukemia), along with
platelets (thrombocytopenia
or with IMHA-Evans Syndrome),
to become healthy and balanced again. But this natural process can be inhibited if the immune system is still artificially
suppressed from drugs. How does one strike a holistic balance? Here is
what one client did.
Mom & sick
Diesel home from hospital
On July 29th,
2018, my Chiweenie, Diesel (6 yrs., 8 lbs.), started acting weird: not
playing, only wanting to lay down and lethargic. Also he didn't eat
breakfast but ate some chicken and rice for dinner. I observed him for a
day, thinking he just may have done too much that day but the next day
he was still acting lethargic. I took him to my vet on July 30th. They
said he was dehydrated and lethargic. They gave him IV fluids and said
to try a certain Royal Canine food and see how he is the next day. I
took him home and I just wasn't feeling right about their diagnosis
because he was still just not acting right. So, a couple hours after
being home with him just not looking right, I decided to check his gums
and they were very white. I immediately took him to the hospital. They
proceeded to do a bunch of testing: blood work, x-rays and ultrasound.
Everything looked good other than elevated liver enzymes and anemia. He
had a PCV (Packed Count Volume of red blood cells) level of 18, so the
only conclusion they came to was that he had AIHA (Autoimmune Hemolytic
Anemia). His own immune system was attacking his red blood cells and his
body couldn't keep up.
The next day his red blood cell level was 10, so they recommended a
blood transfusion. After monitoring him for another day he still wasn't
good. He needed another transfusion. He stayed in the hospital for 6
days until they finally discharged him. They gave me 8 medications to
dispense to him over a 2 hour period twice a day. I did that for the
next 2 months.
Fungal infection
from suppressed immune system
After about a month he developed skin lesions all over his body. The vet recommended I see a specialist for his condition. The
specialist recommended stopping one of the meds., Atopica, and gave him
a fungal medication. She said he developed an opportunistic fungal skin
infection. She said it was only the 3rd dog in 10 years that she seen
with this skin infection from the meds. I continued to see the
specialist for the next two months. In the meantime, I started looking
for an alternative treatment.
I went online and Googled his problem and natural treatments for it and
Optimum Choices came up. So, I contacted them to get their advice. They
were very helpful. I ordered the advanced bio-algae concentrates (BAC)
product,
BioPreparation-f3+. I started giving
him
BioPreparation-f3+, 3 to 4 times a day along with all his other
medications. He seemed to being doing OK but the side effects from all
the meds. were really concerning me. We kept going back to the
specialist where she did full blood panels. By this time it had been a
couple months and they said blood work revealed that it was possible his
AIHA was not under control. Also liver and sugar levels were high and
that he could develop diabetes. She suggested changing medications but
if I did it was possible the skin infection could come back. I told her
about the bio-algae concentrates (BAC) and she didn't really think it
would do anything. I could give it to him if I want but that he should
stay on meds. At this point, we were about $10,000 in with
hospital/vet bills and medications. It didn't seem like it was going to
get any better or cheaper.
So, we stopped going to the specialist and went back to my regular vet
to only get his PCV checks. Also, I contacted Optimum Choices regarding
going off meds. and upping the BAC. Again they were very informative,
saying that they could not give advice on any medications but in their
clients' experience, at some point during the AIHA/IMHA recovery, the
BAC works better without meds.
So, on November 12th 2018 I made my own decision to wean Diesel off
Prednisone from 2 pills a day to 1 pill in the morning and 1/2 at night.
Vet appointment blood work showed PCV at 35. Then I weaned his
Prednisone down again on Nov. 26 to 1 pill, 1/2 in the morning and 1/2
pill at night. I also gave BioPreparation-f3+, 5-6 times a day. 7 days
later the vet check for PCV level was 42. So, I weaned the Prednisone
down to 3/4 of a pill, 1/2 in the morning and 1/4 at night.
Also,
I changed his diet to raw food and added extra veggies and fruit
throughout the day. 16 days later PCV check was at 44. So, I weaned down
to 1/2 of a pill, 1/4 in the morning and 1/4 at dinner. Still giving
BioPreparation-f3+ at 3 capsules total, splitting up and dispensing 5-6
times a day. 10 days later I weaned him down to 1/4 of a pill, 1/8 in
the morning and 1/8 at dinner. Also I stopped the fungal medication for
skin infections that was acquired from
Just scars on paws
left from fungal infection
medication. Skin is doing well.
No breakouts or lesions. Just scars left from infection. 7 days later
PCV level is 44. So, I weaned Prednisone down to 1/8 once a day. So far,
Diesel is showing no signs of lethargy or white gums and he is engaging
more in playtime. He is able to jump up on the couch again and generally
seems happier. He's eating and drinking. The transformation was amazing!
On Jan. 21st, 2019, his PCV level check was 46. So, during the next two
weeks I weaned him off Prednisone completely. Next appointment on Feb.
4th, 2019, he had been completely off meds for 4 days, and only taking
BioPreparation-f3+. His PCV level was at 44. It's been almost 4 weeks
now with no meds. and he is like a puppy again: playing, running,
jumping, being so loving, gums are pink and skin looks great! On Mar.
4th, 2019, about 7 months after being diagnosed with AIHA/IMHA and a
month of NO steroids and with BioPreparation-f3+ and a raw diet, his PCV
levels are holding strong at 46. He is a fun loving playful little Chiweenie
(click video below). Thank you so much Optimum Choices! Without your help I don't
think he would be here today J

Pooch had a rough night on 11/11 and needed CPR on the morning
of 11/12 because he collapsed and his heart stopped. They were
able to revive him and gave him his tenth blood transfusion on
the morning of 11/12 for IMHA. His lowest PCV was about 8. We gave him the
BioPreparation
at approximately 12:30 on 11/12 and he responded wonderfully. He
began drinking water almost immediately. His PCV level remained
stable at 32, when in the past it had been no higher than 16, even
with blood transfusions. On 11/14, they discharged him from the
hospital after 10 days there. I am happy to report that he has
remained home and his PCV is now 45, in the normal range. We
started off with a pinch of BioPreparation and then increased it
incrementally. We are now giving him 1 capsule a day. He is 11.6
lbs. now. He is still on the immune suppressants and steroids (Prednisone,
Asprin, Neoral and Azathioprine) but we are working on weaning him
off these medications.
We cannot thank you enough for your assistance. We are so happy we would
like to begin BioSuperfood
for ourselves.
Elsa, a 10 year old Rottweiler who weighs about 80
#, was taken to see her vet for a rash and routine care. Her doctor
suggested a blood test because of her age, to see how she was doing
overall. Her tests came back good, except for slight anemia.
Further testing showed that her red blood cells were not
regenerating and the count was down a little further. The
possibilities are leukemia, other cancers IMHA/AIHA, all things
with a very poor prognosis. She was been found to have a
non-regenerative anemia, the cause of which is unknown. She will be
seeing a specialist for a consult next week.
I found the Optimum Choices website and although I did not believe BioPreparation
would make a difference, it has. I started 3 weeks ago with
BioPreparation-F3+, gradually increasing her dosage from 1/2 capsule
2x/day to 1 capsule 3x/day. The results have been very good. Elsa's
tongue and gums have become much pinker and she is moving around with
much greater ease. She has more energy and wants to go outside
for walks and to explore. She is playful again and is sleeping
better. Overall, her energy is way up, her coat looks better, her
condition appears to be improving. I will be continuing with your
product.
Her alternatives would probably be a chemo agent, Prednisone to
suppress her immune system (a Band Aid at best and it doesn't really
make sense to suppress immune system, but that's what is out there).
And her arthritis is improving without the use of Rimadyl, which
I also hesitate to use.
Thank you, Optimum Choices for helping my girl. Your website has
excellent information on pet food and the
BioPreparation
product has amazed me. I had no hope, now I see my girl improving
every day. I will continue her on your products.

Nino is doing so well—he’s back to his normal
weight (65 lbs.) and his spirit and vitality are right back to where he
was pre-diagnosis (IMHA). I truly attribute his success in healing to
the brilliant product, BioPreparation, you provided.
I
have him on 5 mg. of Prednisone every other day, and I am giving him one
capsule of each formula of BioPreparation (one AM one PM). His blood
levels as of last test were great—48% red blood cell count and his
coagulating rates were perfect, too (he cut his gum after chewing to
aggressively on a treat, so I took him to the ER and they ran a full
blood panel and it came back with perfectly healthy results).

Hi, this is Philo's mommy and just wanted to let
you know that he is doing unbelievably great. My poor baby went
through a lot and honestly I don't think his little body could have
taken it if it wasn't for the great nutrients BioPreparation provides.
Up until Sunday, August 16th, his blood count
had dropped to 10 and the doctor was administering Oxyglobin
(two transfusions were done prior). He needed a third transfusion but
nothing was certain. Six days before (Aug. 10th) when my doggie got
diagnosed with IMHA I had no idea what to do or what that disease was
like. Went on the Internet for several hours and thank goodness I was
able to find your website and educate myself. After reading everything I
said to myself what do I have to lose and ordered a bottle. By
Wednesday, Aug 13th, Phillo had already gotten his second blood
transfusion but was still peeing a lot of blood. After I administered
BioPreparation (1.5 capsules split in 2 doses) his pee immediately (1
hour later) went to orange, then green and now a healthy light yellow.
We were all stunned. Unfortunately the destruction of blood cells
was so much that we needed to buy time until all meds start kicking in
so we went ahead with the third transfusion. His PCV went to 26, 27, 24,
18. But the encouragement we got was that he was acting a lot more
alert, eating on his own, peeing normally, playing with his toys,
barking, kissing us non-stop and that spark in his eyes was back.
The doctors were very surprised by how fast he was recouping. His
condition was critical and in a few occasions he was on the verge of
dying. The doctor also told me she was very surprised by how, with
such poor eating and after 3 transfusions, his vital organs were not
damaged in any way.
By Thursday, Aug. 20th, his PCV was 25 and the
doctors agreed that if it kept going up or stayed the same he could come
back home the next day. On Friday, Aug. 21st, his PCV was at 28 and we
were sooooooo happy because we could finally bring our little man back
home. Took him to the vet yesterday, Aug. 22nd, and his PCV was at 31!!!
He
still is on medication, but BioPreparation truly gave the nutrients
Philo needed to pull through and heal. Everyone at the hospital was
amazed on how quickly he responded when he only had a 50/50 chance.
The dosage of antibiotics will eventually decrease/taken away but
BioPreparation will ALWAYS be in Philito's life.
If you are reading this while you are trying to
find something that will make your puppy get/feel better, do not
hesitate. This whole food product is really ahead of its time and it
works WONDERS.
My dog Sarah (Brussels Griffon, 4 years old about
12 pounds) was diagnosed with IMHA two weeks ago. Still eats well. Has
had two blood transfusions and is on two medications: Predisolone and
Azithropine. Blood Level at onset was 11. Two weeks later it went
as high as 27 and last check it was 23. Sarah has been on BioPreparation
for a month now. She has also been on vet prescribed auto immune
suppressant. I have been giving her one pill a day and her blood
level increased to 47. She now has increase in her Liver function
test. Vet has taken her off of one of the suppressants and I will be
increasing her BioPreparation to 2 a day. I just want to say THANK
YOU as if I did not find your site on line I do not believe that my pup
would be here today. Everyday we learn something new about IMHA and
how bad it is. I know that we are still up for a long battle. Just
wanted to say thank you again!!!!!
My 7 year old Bichon
Frise had IMHA. She started BioPreparation-f3+ four days after diagnosis
with a blood count of 20%. Three weeks after starting, her blood levels
had risen to 30%. At six weeks, her blood level was 37% and her blood
test showed no signs of IMHA. She’s at 39% this week and the
heart murmur she had developed from the IMHA is completely gone. The
vet had told me previously that chances of the heart murmur going away
were “very slim”. Her prednisone dose is now one-eighth of the starting
dose, 2.5 mg. Thanks so much for your kind attention and the literature
on IMHA. You have a great product.—M.D.

How did BioPreparation do all the above? It didn’t.
BioPreparation simply supplied the body with the super nutrients of
Vitamin A, B-complex, C, D, E and K, essential fatty acids of Omega 3, Omega 6,
Omega 9, Gamma Linoleic Acid
(GLA content is similar to early mother's milk),
Alpha-Linolenic Acids (ALAs), Dihomogamma-Linolenic
Acid (DGLA), Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and more fatty acids, over
4,000 enzymes, 10 essential amino acids plus 10 more, all known trace minerals
and elements, phytonutrients and thousands of other nutrients so the body
could resume producing red blood cells normally. BioPreparation did not
treat the symptoms but holistically balanced the whole body. When the
endocrine and immune systems are holistically balanced, everything will work
like it should. BioPreparation is such a revolutionary product (concept) it is
100 years ahead of its time. Now that’s true holistic wellness!
Shipping
Normal shipping is done by U.S.P.S. Priority Mail (2-3 days but not
guaranteed). If you have a critically ill pet, please be sure you
consider the other three shipping options in our Shopping Cart:
Expedited Priority Mail, Express Mail and Federal Express.
Priority Mail and Express Mail are the cheapest
but we have found the U.S.P.S. to be extremely unreliable when compared
to Federal Express.
If you want to do something proactive before the BioPreparation
arrives, go to a people health food store and buy some
algae/Spirulina and liquid chlorophyll. Buy the highest grade algae
product you can with two or more species of algae/Spirulina in it. No
product will have four species, like BioPreparation, so just get the
best you can. Also, buy some liquid chlorophyll in a dropper bottle or
gel capsules. Mix about 1/4 teaspoon algae powder with one dropper full
(about 25 drops) of chlorophyll in a half a cup of water. Mix this into
your dog's food or if your dog is not eating, then squirt it into the
mouth. See Saved Lives for further
