Because of our low, mail order, Internet prices and the amazing demand for our "wholistic" consulting and revolutionary products, we limit every inquiry (e-mail and telephone) to 15 minutes in order to help all those in need. After the first 15 minutes we charge our normal consulting fee. Please make use of all the free resources available 24 hours/day, by clicking on the buttons in the left-hand menu of every product page (Ingredients, Usage, FAQ, etc.). Thank you in advance.

Pet Food Recalls

In July, 2018, the FDA began an investigation into reports of canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in pets eating certain foods, many "grain-free" labeled, that contained a high proportion of peas, lentils, other legume seeds (pulses), and/or potatoes in various forms (whole, flour, protein, etc.) as main ingredients. We have heard that some large pet food manufacturers and some traditional Western veterinarians are recommending pet parents avoid "BEG" diets—Boutique companies, Exotic ingredients or Grain-free diets. Before you panic, read our truly holistic perspective in previous newsletters:

  1. FDA Investigates Potential Link between Certain Diets and Canine Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM)
  2. Grain-Free Foods Linked to Canine Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM): Part 2

The pet food recalls continue. The best "wholistic" suggestion to prevent danger to your pet is — STOP feeding dry kibble dog food. In our "wholistic" opinion, dry kibble dog food is the least nutritious form of food to feed a carnivore. Furthermore, a majority of all pet food recalls is with dry food. Canned food, freeze-dried food and raw food have a much lower percentage of recalls. For the latest recalls, go to:

Three Good Things from COVID-19

If you are a regular reader of our Freedom From Illness newsletter, you already know our basic "wholistic" philosophy:

  1. It is better to be holistically proactive, rather than medically reactive. One may be able to avoid some degenerative conditions and neutralize symptoms from those that do come, thereby decreasing pain, suffering and even save money.

  2. Do not wait for symptoms to show up or blow up before taking holistic action. It is estimated that once symptoms show up, 50% or more degeneration has already occurred, thus making resolving the issue harder and more expensive.

  3. STOP supplementing symptoms. Instead, nourish ALL the glands and organs of the WHOLE body. See what the body/brain can do first, rather than take the "bomb" approach with drugs and potent isolated supplements, which may produce side effects and toxicity.

As the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV or COVID-19) pandemic envelopes our globe, there are many self-directed holistic action steps one can take, no matter what the source of the infection. Uncover more specific details in our previous newsletters (dating back to 2014):

  1. Ebola, H1N1, Bird and Swine Flu: What is Next? (Oct 2014)

  2. Ebola and HIV Update (Oct 2014)

  3. Anti-HIV Protein from Blue-Green Algae Also Inhibits Ebola Infection — 2003 study by the National Cancer Institute (NCI)

  4. Super Immunity for Superior Health (Feb 2020)

  5. Coronavirus COVID-19: No Worries (Mar 2020)

  6. Viruses, Fungi, Parasites and Candida and BAC — includes HIV (AIDS) case study

This issue is dedicated to our mental and emotional bodies. Did you know one cannot be in despair and/or depression meditatingat the same time one is experiencing gratitude?

This exercise was created by psychologist Martin Seligman. He is considered an expert on depression and happiness and has been called the "father of Positive Psychology." As one of the preeminent psychologists of the 20th century, he is Director of the University of Pennsylvania Positive Psychology Center, Zellerbach Family Professor of Psychology in the Penn Department of Psychology and Director of the Penn Master of Applied Positive Psychology program (MAPP). Basically, this is a gratitude exercise one practices daily. Here is the simple Three Good Things exercise:

  1. Every night, just before you go to bed, think back on your day.

  2. Think of three (3) good things that went well for you that day.

  3. Write them down. Reflect on each of them.

Remember to do the third step, as this is important in grounding the experience in the physical. Here are some questions to ask yourself:

  1. What did I accomplish today that I am proud of?

  2. Who did I help today? (act of good, generosity or random act of kindness)

  3. What big or small important deadline did I meet?

  4. What lingering task did I complete?

  5. Did anyone praise me, my work or compliment me today?

  6. Did I bring a smile to someone's face today?

  7. What good did I see in the world today?

It is said if one repeats this exercise for 21 consecutive days, a positive habit forms to neutralize our human tendencies to always dwell on the negative. This would be a good way to alleviate despair and depression in these uncertain times. Russell has done this to neutralize his tendency to go into a depression from his mTBI (mild Traumatic Brain Injury). It helps keep him off medication and decreases his need for holistic anti-depression remedies.

Although this Three Good Things exercise is meant to be done at night, reflecting on the day's events, here is an example of how that might work if Russell wrote down three good things based on his day conducting holistic consultations:

Three Good Things from COVID-19:

  1. Independent research to verify claims—in the last presidential election we saw a lot of misinformation spread via bogus ads and social media, preying on people's emotions and fears. We continue to see this with the coronavirus, especially on social media. Now, people have become more discerning and are researching health claims before believing and forwarding on coronavirus claims.

  2. Making one's health a priority—booking one's social calendar 5/7 nights per week is not healthy. Eating out every day or every other day, is not very healthy. Sleeping less than 7-8 hours a night, 5 days per week is not immune-enhancing. We all know the ramifications of the above unhealthy habits, yet we lack the motivation to change. Now we have motivation to make our health the #1 priority in our life. We are making more immune-enhancing and life-sustaining choices.

  3. Empowering self-care—with video calls and telemedicine appointments, we are receiving self-care tips to remain healthy from our healthcare professionals. So instead of relying on a doctor/vet for everything, we are empowering ourselves and makingyoga #2 above, a priority in our formerly busy social lifestyle. We are making time for exercise, being outdoors, walking, bicycling, yoga, meditation, reflecting, writing in a journal, keeping in touch with family and friends, etc. These are all immune-enhancing and life-sustaining actions.

Remember, the decisions you make for you and your family (including furry children) today, may affect the rest of your life. Be bold by taking holistic action BEFORE symptoms show up or blow up. Make immune-enhancing and life-sustaining decisions to support and balance your entire immune system up to its optimum potential.
